LeaderSync Started With a Real Leadership Problem
LeaderSync grew out of the everyday realities of church leadership—meetings, conversations, decisions, priorities, planning, and follow-through that often ended up scattered across too many places.
What started as an effort to solve that problem for one leadership team became something we believed could help other churches too.
Our Story
Built From Real Ministry Experience
LeaderSync wasn’t created from a hypothetical idea of how churches should operate.
It grew out of actually leading in ministry.
Important conversations happened in meetings but were difficult to carry forward. Decisions became separated from the follow-through they created. Priorities competed with the constant demands of ministry. Context ended up spread across texts, emails, documents, calendars, and individual memory.
The challenge wasn’t that leaders didn’t care or weren’t working hard. The challenge was keeping the work of leadership connected while ministry kept moving.
LeaderSync grew out of trying to solve that problem in a practical way.
The Founder
Why I Built LeaderSync
I didn’t set out to build another church software platform.
I was trying to solve problems I was experiencing as a pastor and ministry leader.
Our leadership team was meeting, planning, communicating, making decisions, assigning responsibility, and moving ministry forward. But the work surrounding those things was scattered across different places, and too much depended on someone remembering what had been discussed or following up outside the systems we were already using.
I wanted a better way to keep our conversations, decisions, priorities, and follow-through connected.
What began as something designed to help our own leadership team gradually became something I realized could help other churches facing many of the same challenges.
That became LeaderSync.

Churches lead differently. They have different structures, rhythms, ministries, teams, priorities, and challenges.
That’s why LeaderSync continues to be shaped through conversations, feedback, and real-world use with church leaders.
We want to understand what actually helps leadership teams stay connected and where the system creates unnecessary friction.
The goal isn’t to tell churches how to lead. It’s to build tools flexible enough to support healthy leadership in the context where they already serve.

If the answer is yes, it belongs. If it doesn’t, it probably doesn’t.
LeaderSync isn’t trying to become every tool a church might need. Churches already have excellent systems for managing people, giving, services, groups, volunteers, scheduling, and other ministry operations.
We’re staying focused on the work of leadership—helping leaders communicate clearly, maintain shared context, keep priorities visible, follow through consistently, and make better-informed decisions together.
We would rather build fewer things that genuinely strengthen leadership than add features simply because we can.
